What is horror escape?
Horror escape is a live escape scenario where teams of 2-7 have 60 minutes to work together to find clues, solve puzzles and complete challenges in order to progress through and eventually escape the scenario.
Will I find this fun?
Definitely, all of our clients have found our escape room scenarios to be unique and exhilarating. Each of our scenarios has been designed by specialists, tested hundreds of times and refined to ensure the ultimate horror escape experience.
What ages are horror escape scenarios suitable for?
Our Cabin Fever and Murder Mansion scenarios are suitable for adults aged 16+, our Escape from Wonderland scenario is suitable for everyone aged 10+. We require an adult to remain on site if there are any players aged under 16.

Is it safe?
Yes all of our scenarios have been thoroughly tested for health and safety. All of our rooms are monitored by staff at all times and if you want to leave the scenario at any time, you are free to do so.
Are your scenarios scary?
Yes, each of our scenarios do have scary elements – each one has a ‘fright factor’ rating which will help you to decide which is right for you. If you can’t decide, please contact us on contact@horrorescape.co.uk and we will try our best to help!
How hard are the scenarios?

What should I wear?
Feel free to wear whatever clothing you feel comfortable in. We would recommend loose-fitting clothing and trainers. Please do not turn up in heels or open toe shoes. We are not responsible for any damages or if you get dirty during your experience.
What is your delivery and returns policy for board games?
We aim to deliver board games purchased through the website within 5 days of purchase. You are free to amend or cancel a board game purchase prior to dispatch and are free to return a board game purchase you have made to us as long as it is in the same condition that it has been dispatched to you. In instances of lost packages, we will provide a full refund for purchases and we also assume responsibility for returns costs (regardless of reason).
I’m claustrophobic, can I play?
Yes, with the exception of murder mansion all of our scenarios are suitable for claustrophobic individuals.
Am I required to be physically fit?
No, our scenarios and challenges are fundamentally mental in nature and little physical exertion is required.
Do you accommodate special occasions?
Yes, we definitely can do, please contact us on contact@horrorescape.co.uk to discuss your specific needs.
When should I arrive for the scenario?
Please arrive 10-15 mins before your allotted slot to ensure you are fully relaxed and ready before entering an intense scenario! If you are more than 10 minutes late for your game you will not be permitted entry to the venue.
What are your opening hours?
We are open from 11.00am-9.30pm Monday-Sunday.
How much does it cost?
The price for each scenario varies from £31pp-£40pp depending on the number of people that play. Please see the book now section for full details.
Can I get a refund or reschedule the experience?
Unfortunately as our escape scenarios are a live event, refunds are not able to be provided. In cases of emergency, we are able to reschedule your experience for a cost of £10 per player. Please note this fee will be doubled for each consequent time your game is rescheduled. If you are rescheduling from an off peak game to an on peak game it will be an additional £5 to the reschedule fee. If you need to reschedule outside of these parameters, please contact us 48 hours in advance of your slot on contact@horrorescape.co.uk and we will try our best to reschedule to your preferred time at no additional cost.

Do you accommodate people in wheelchairs?
As we are located in a basement, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate people in wheelchairs for our games.
